Death of a virtual pet

Posted by Mike Sugarbaker at 10:13 am on 9/25/2003

It’s hardly very emotional - I’m more frustrated than anything else - but it still feels like I should note the effective demise of my ice-blue Visor Deluxe today. The Handspring software won’t install properly and seems to think my hard drive is full. So, I could still carry the thing around (if only to impress the babes by flipping open my highly punk-rock, weather-beaten Kensington aluminum case), but if I can’t install WordSmith or an outliner, what’s the point?

And so the long wait begins: until I replace two portable-yet-bulky pocket-stuffers with one Nokia 6800 come the end of November, my information-notational needs will just have to be served by a Moleskine.
