It’s all so sad

So Movable Type fell victim to the three strikes law; blow up and lose data for me three times in a row, and I uninstall you. I may be partially at fault for running different versions and not uninstalling them cleanly enough, but really, I don’t think that justifies deleting all posts from your database. Come on.
MT 3.0 might not quite be stable enough for prime time yet, but I have every reason to believe it will be when it goes final. This weblog is now running on WordPress, which I emphatically do not recommend to anyone who doesn’t have UNIX and PHP experience (and want to use that experience just to get simple things done). Things are not perfect here yet (need to fix the RSS feeds!), but I have too many posts on deck waiting to be written. Thanks for sitting through this announcement; on with business.

MT blew up on me twice, buddy. I feel your pain. Of course, at the time, I thought it was more appropriate to blame my hosting company (and I still feel justified in that decision because they refused to offer me the backup files of my server).
