I am pleased to announce that the Honest Information Program is now as real a podcast as it gets, complete with an iTunes-ready RSS feed. (The page is far from pretty thus far, but since the program is on brief hiatus, I have a little time to fix that.)
Soon, look for us on Odeo and every-damn-where else. Come get in line for your roughly-biweekly-administered dose of enlightenment, and yes, we know there’s two ways to interpret that.

I am irrationally chuffed to find that a photo of mine did in fact make it into the Flickr “Squared Circle” group’s Phyllotaxy poster. It and other great Flickr-based mosaics are available from their creator, Jim “KrazyDad” Bumgardner.
I didn’t think I’d gotten in because I was late to get word on the required settings for eligible photos, but there I am! My odd contribution is around 765 pixels across and 865 down, if that helps.

So I made a big pile of CDs to rip into my MP3 player, which I basically only use at the gym… and I realized that the pile amounts to a kind of a best-of list of my CD collection. Now, before I continue, know that, because of its destination as soundtracks to my thrice-weekly trudge-a-thons on the elliptical trainer, it’s fairly biased towards the loud and aggressive (or at least, towards stuff as unlikely to make me all mopey as it is likely to drown out Planet Granite’s satellite radio). But nonetheless, herewith, in no order:
